Movies, AntaraNews – Demon Slayer season 4 will feature the Hashira Training Arc and is scheduled for release in 2024. Tanjiro will train alongside some of the strongest Hashira, making for an exciting and engaging season!
Hashira Giyu Tomioka will return as water Hashira, insect Hashira Obanai Iguro and wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa will train alongside Tanjiro. Furthermore, we may get a glimpse of Nezuko’s newly acquired powers during the course of this season.
Demon Slayer Season 3
Once the Swordsmith Village arc concludes, the Demon Slayer squad are training hard for an epic showdown against Muzan Kibutsuji – their opponent being one of many demons they must defeat!
However, they will need to prepare themselves for even more. The season 4 premiere will adapt the Hashira Training Arc from Koyoharu Gotoge’s manga and spans chapters 98-127.
This episode will showcase some of the stronger Hashira, such as Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima, Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro, Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho and Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa. All original Japanese cast members such as Natsuki Hanae, Hiro Shimono and Akari Kitou will return for these new episodes.
Demon Slayer Season 4
Demon Slayer’s debut of season 4 marks a high point, masterfully weaving together its thematic essence of undaunted courage and the value of bonds into its narrative.
Koyoharu Gotoge’s original manga features one short arc that will be intriguing to witness how its adaptation works out in anime form.
Fans were given a glimpse of what to expect this season after watching Kimetsu no Yaiba: To The Hashira Training special. Episode 2 will continue exploring Nezuko’s abilities and her immunity to sunlight.
Release Date
On May 12th, Hashira Training: Beginnings will debut its hour-long episode that sets up for its subsequent anime storyline.
This arc will delve deeper into the pasts of our main characters while simultaneously setting them up for the Final Battle Arc. New characters such as Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka, Fire Hashira Inosuke Nakahara, Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro, Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa and Mist Hashira Rengoku Shinjuro will also be introduced here.
Hashira Training’s episode count remains unknown. Since it is one of 11 manga arcs, and possibly less than an entire season will cover this arc, nobody is certain what number will adapt it into episodes.
The fourth season of Demon Slayer anime will debut this spring and focus on adapting Hashira Training Arc from original manga by Koyoharu Gotoge.
Last season of Demon Slayer Corps featured Mitsuri and Muichiro awakening their demonic powers while fighting two Upper Moons; additionally they took down two of Muzan’s strongest underlings while it was revealed that Nezuko can walk in sunlight–an ability which puts her directly under Muzan’s radar.
Demon Slayer will follow-up the Swordsmith Village arc by adapting Koyoharu Gotoge’s Hashira Training arc from Koyoharu Gotoge. Tanjiro will need this step of his demon-hunting journey, training alongside various Hashira like Giyu Tomioka for Water Hashira; Obanai Iguro’s Serpent Hashira Obanai Kocho’s Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho’s Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa’s Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa’s Sanemi Shinazugawa’s Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa and Gyomei Himejima.
This arc will also explore Nezuko’s new abilities, particularly her immunity to sunlight – something series antagonist Muzan Kibutsuji will no doubt attempt to exploit. Original voice actors Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro), Abby Trott (Nezuko), and Hiro Shimono (Zenitsu) should return for this arc.
Demon Slayer fans have been waiting since Season 3 wrapped in 2023; but finally the beloved anime adaptation based on Koyoharu Gotouge’s original manga is returning in Spring 2024 for Season 4, adapting the Hashira Training Arc as its inspiration.
Tanjiro will train alongside some of the strongest Hashira to become one himself, while Demon Slayer Corps prepares for an epic fight against Muzan who seeks to devour Nezuko.
Natsuki Hanae and Akari Kitou from the original Japanese cast will all return for this arc, along with Hiro Shimono and Inosuke reliving their roles as Demon Slayers.

After an explosive conclusion of the Swordsmith Village arc, Tanjiro and his crew will face even more arduous trials in season four. Now, they must prepare themselves for their inevitable clash against Muzan Kibutsuji during Hashira Training Arc.
On May 12th, Crunchyroll will release the season with a simulcast release of Episode One beginning at 11:45 am Pacific/2:45 pm Eastern which corresponds with 7:45pm BST in the UK.
The season will adapt chapters 128-136 from the manga. In this arc, Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima joins other Demon Slayer Corps members in training with some of their strongest members to prepare them for a confrontation against Muzan.
